I bought this curtain 2 months ago, and I am completely satisfied. The color goes well with the our white and gray-green walls. The bamboo leaf pattern is simple and pleasing. I shortened the curtain a little by trimming a strip from the bottom - it cuts easily and cleanly. The plastic (vinyl) is thick enough that I'm not concerned it's going to rip easily, and it's reinforced around the top where the curtain rings attach. It also doesn't seem to have a tendency to stay folded, trapping water - a problem I've had with other vinyl shower curtains. -- Simple attractive shower curtain

It's a lovely looking nice shower curtain, and you can't beat the price. It's not thin, which I was worried about, its a nice sturdy plastic and doesn't feel cheap or like it will tear. Really nice product for the price I think. ^^ -- Very nice for the price

I love bamboo, and so when I was in the market for a new shower curtain I looked at a few bamboo-patterned ones, hoping for something a bit subdued and not too cheesy, but with a nice design.

The "Maytex Zen Garden PEVA Shower Curtain" is just what I was looking for. The bamboo pattern is very pretty, with simple green shades on a white background. The white is translucent, so it lets light though, yet not transparent. The material is 100% waterproof, so I don't need to splurge on getting a liner. This may not be as fancy as a cloth shower curtain, but I don't really live a fancy lifestyle so it suited me just fine.

The "Maytex Zen Garden" touts itself on the package as being environmentally friendly, and that is due to the use of PEVA-vinyl rather than standard PVC-vinyl. The only real difference is the lack of chlorine in PEVA, with definitely makes it "environmentally friendlier," but it is still a petrochemical product which means it has a long way to go from being "green."

Some have commented about the lack of smell with this shower curtain, but I have to say that it came out of the bag with the same odor as every vinyl shower curtain I have ever owned. Fortunately that fades pretty quickly. I don't think the change in vinyl made much difference here.

The only thing I didn't like about "Maytex Zen Garden" is that the shower rings are the standard white plastic ones that you have to bend in order to get over the pole, and then twist to lock. I have had these snap several times, and just think that they are ugly so I picked up so new rings to go with my new shower curtain.

This shower curtain is just as attractive as it looks in the picture! It has no odd vinyl smell like so many shower curtains. I did not have the same problem that other reviewers had with the holes. The holes on my curtain were punched sufficiently so that the shower hooks went through without a problem. I would highly recommend this shower curtain! -- Great shower curtain
